The present invention relates to an electrochromic device which can be used as a light shielding plate for a transparent flexible display. The electrochromic device includes: a film-shaped first transparent electrode including an electrode plate; a film-shaped second transparent electrode arranged to face the first transparent electrode; and an electrochromic layer arranged between the first and second transparent electrodes. The electrode plate includes: a transparent electrode layer; a metal mesh pattern on the transparent electrode layer; an insulating layer arranged in the space between the upper part of the transparent electrode layer and the metal mesh pattern; and a film member between the metal mesh pattern and the insulating layer. |
