<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a low exposure level in contrast radiography performed by X-ray CT scanning. <P>SOLUTION: Dual energy scanning of a subject, to whom a contrast medium containing iodine is administered, is performed, and a virtual contrast image of the subject is generated on the basis of obtained data. An iodine density image indicating density distribution of iodine in the subject, which is based on a model expressing the subject by the synthesis of iodine and a predetermined substance except iodine, is generated on the basis of the data. Furthermore, a virtual non-contrast image is generated by performing the subtraction or weighted subtraction of the iodine density image from the virtual contrast image. Thus, both an image corresponding to the contrast image and an image corresponding to the non-contrast image can be acquired by performing the scanning once. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
