<p>The invention relates to a human powered vehicle comprising a frame, a steering mechanism, a front wheel, a rear wheel, and a transmission mechanism including: two pedals that rotate independently about a rotation axis between an upper end position and a lower end position; transmission means having a lower end coupled to the rear part of an associated pedal; guide elements which, over a first angular portion (α) of the clockwise rotational movement, guide the respective transmission means, and, over a second angular portion (β), are articulated with the upper end; a front-end return mechanism for each pedal; a rear-end return mechanism for each guide element; free wheel mechanisms coupled to respective guide elements and an output shaft; and transmission means for transmitting power from the output shaft to the rear wheel.</p> |
