<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly strong wound covering material with high biocompatibility and water holding property. <P>SOLUTION: Silk fibroin is produced from silkworms, a specified additive is added to the silk fibroin aqueous solution, the aqueous solution is frozen and then melted, and thus a silk fibroin porous body is obtained. When using it as the wound covering material, by selecting an appropriate die or container for the aqueous solution, a shape corresponding to a purpose such as a film shape, a block shape, a tube shape or a spherical shape is obtained. In order to obtain a suitable sheet shape, the aqueous solution is poured into a block-like die provided with a sheet such as a Teflon (R) sheet on inner wall surfaces, the sheet on the four surfaces is removed, and the silk fibroin porous body to be used as a sheet-like wound covering material is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
