For enabling more seats with a high comfort level, the invention provides a Seat arrangement (18) for a passenger compartment (14) of a vehicle (16) wherein the passenger compartment (14) has a floor (82) and concave side walls (84) so that the passenger compartment (14) has a narrower width in the lower height level (46) of the floor (82) and a larger width in a medium height level, wherein the seat arrangement (18) comprises a plurality of seats (20, 22, 23) arranged in at least one seat row (19) with at least one gap (78, 79) to form an aisle (80) between at least two of these seats (20, 22, 23) wherein an armrest (24) is arranged both on the left-hand side and on the right hand side of each seat (20, 22, 23) with an end armrest (24c) arranged on each of the both ends of the seat row (19), characterized in that
a) the width of the at least one seat row (19) including the end armrests (24c) when measured in a height level of the top surface (92) of the end armrests (24c) is larger as compared to the width of the at least one seat row (19) including the end armrest (24c) when measured in a height level (44, 46) of a lower part of the end armrests (24c); and/or
b) at least the end armrests (24c) and/or at least the end seats (88) are arranged in a higher height level when compared with a middle armrest (24a) or a middle seat, respectively. |
