PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device capable of accurately measuring an amount of hydrogen penetrated into metal accompanied by corrosion, in consideration of variations in residual current on an anode side accompanied by variations in temperature in an environment.
SOLUTION: A device of measuring an amount of hydrogen penetrated into metal, when one side of a specimen formed of a metal material is set as a penetration surface of hydrogen generated by a corrosion reaction due to exposure to a corrosive environment, and the other side thereof is set as a hydrogen detection surface, includes: an electrochemical cell formed by a plurality of cell groups on the hydrogen detection surface side, each cell being filled with an electrolyte aqueous solution of pH 9-13; a reference electrode and an opposite electrode provided independently; and a protective film for blocking contact with the corrosive environment in a region on the penetration hydrogen surface side corresponding to the hydrogen detection surface side of a reference cell set as at least one cell of the cell groups, for correcting a residual current. The device corrects an anode current value detected in a cell except the reference cell by the residual current value detected in the reference cell, to calculate an amount of hydrogen penetrated from the corrosion surface side on the basis of the corrected anode current value.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
