<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent trouble with a customer and an illicit act of an operator when receiving a deposit from the customer in the completion of a registration of one transaction. <P>SOLUTION: A money checking plate 14 is for temporally keeping money so as to show a customer the money received from the customer as a deposit when completing a registration of one transaction. When receiving a deposit from a customer, a CPU 1 suspends the following processing if the result of a detection by a banknote detection part 13 indicates that no money is placed on the money checking plate 14.
