The host computer may include: an input interface configured to receive an input from an external device; and a video output configured to output video data. The peripheral device may include: a mechanical input part configured to receive mechanical input from a user of the host computer; an output interface to the host computer configured to send data representing the mechanical input to the input interface of the host computer; a video input configured to receive video data from the video output of the host computer; and a video encoding circuit configured to compress the video data using a video encoder.
