<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed device, which is adaptive to standard papers differed in dimension, which can easily avoid a malfunction such as double feed, and further which is highly practicable with reduced cost, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The paper feed part 1 of the paper feed device A constituting the image forming apparatus stacks and stores a large number of papers 2 and includes a paper pressing part 10 backward, when viewed in a paper feed direction F1. In the paper feed part 1, a rotation shaft 26 constituting a drive part 20 is arranged above a paper storage part 16 and forward in the paper feed direction F1 and an arm part 25 supports the rotation shaft 26 to move the rotation shaft 26 in the paper feed direction F1 and in an opposite direction F2. A paper feed roller 21 is attached to the rotation shaft 26 and the rotational direction of the paper feed roller 21, when viewed from the lower side of the paper feed roller 21 facing the paper storage part 16 is the opposite direction F2. A guide plate 22 is provided forward in the paper feed direction F1 and a paper feed path is formed between the lower plate surface of the guide plate 22 and the circumferential surface of the paper feed roller 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
