<p>The present invention is generally related to the field of optical systems and/or lens attachments, and more specific to an optical system and/or lens attachment providing a switchable Optical Power Switch (OPS) controllably switchable between different states. A soft transparent material 12, for example silicone-gel is disposed onto a surface of a glass plate 10. The glass plate 10 can be moved with actuators towards a surface of a lens body 10.
