<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for manufacturing curved tempered glass capable of shaping heated glass into a curved surface and instantly cooling the glass without an additional movement. According to the present invention, the apparatus for manufacturing curved tempered glass comprises: a first shaping element and a second shaping element for pressurizing front and rear sides of the heated glass, and shaping the glass to let at least a part have a curvature; a first cooling element and a second cooling element located while facing each other, injecting air to the front and rear sides of the curved glass shaped by the first shaping element and the second shaping element, and cooling the glass; and a moving element for moving the first cooling element and the second cooling element in a direction of facing each other. The first shaping element and the second shaping element are respectively located in front side portions, which face each other, of the first cooling element and the second cooling element. In addition, the method for manufacturing curved tempered glass comprises: a preheating step of heating prepared glass in a furnace; a moving step of withdrawing the heated glass outside; a shaping step of pressurizing the front and rear sides of the heated glass with a pair of molds, and forming the curved surface; and a cooling step of removing the molds, and simultaneously injecting the air to the front and rear sides of the curved glass that the shaping step is completed without the additional movement.</p> |
