<p>The present invention relates to a method for determining drunk driving, an apparatus for preventing drunk driving using the same, and a controlling method thereof. The apparatus comprises: a storage unit which stores driver information according to behavior characteristics of a driver during drunk driving; a driver information collecting unit which collects driver information according to actual behavior characteristics of the driver; and a determining unit which determines drunk driving by comparing the driver information stored in the storage unit with the driver information collected by the driver information collecting unit. In addition, the driver information includes at least one among the degree of eyeline dispersion of the driver, the degree of drowsiness of the driver, and scenario executing time information during a drunken state. Therefore, the apparatus for preventing drunk driving can prevent drunk driving by accurately determining drunk driving of the driver using the driver information including the degree of eyeline dispersion and the degree of drowsiness of the driver, and vehicle information including the acceleration and deceleration pattern, the steering angle, lane change, steering, and braking information of a vehicle.</p> |
