<p>The device consists of a single unit body harness B with twin hand grips B1, B2 for the child and vertical nylon straps with upper and lower thumb loops B5-B8 for the wearer with a fully integrated moulded fulcrum rest C supporting the integrated moulded seat unit A with integrated padded waist/hip belt D carrying twin adjustable nylon stirrup straps holding hard plastic stirrup loops D3, D4 for the child's feet. The construction materials for the device should be made from moulded carbon fibre or a combination of moulded carbon fibre and plastic used in the fabrication of the single unit body harness, back, shoulder and chest outer parts plus a moulded fulcrum rest and moulded seat unit using the same light-weight material. The inner parts of the device in direct contact with the body of the wearer or the child can be constructed from Closed Cell Foam encased in suitable padded fabric for the comfort of both adult and child.</p> |
