<p>Disclosed is an idle air intake control device of an engine wherein a bypath (5) connected with an intake route (1) while detouring a throttle valve (2), and a bypass valve (6) for throttling the bypath (5) adjustably are provided in a throttle body (T), and a dust trap (7) for preventing intrusion of dust into the bypass valve (6) from the intake route (1) is provided in the bypath (5). The dust trap (7) is formed, to have a U-shaped section, of a first trap chamber (30) to which the intake route (1)-side trap inlet hole (10) opens, a second trap chamber (31) contiguous to the first trap chamber (30) with a barrier wall (32) interposed therebetween and to which the bypass valve (6)-side trap outlet hole (11) opens, and a reversal chamber (33) for communicating the first and second trap chambers (30, 31) with each other so that the chamber surrounds one end of the barrier wall (32). Consequently, an idle intake control device of an engine equipped with a compact dust trap and exhibiting good dust separation effect can be provided.</p> |
