<p>A method is disclosed for producing an oil binding agent, using highly porous natural siliceous material and organic-containing remaining material, wherein the highly porous natural siliceous material having an initial grain size of between 4 and 10 mm is mixed with the organic-containing remaining material and the mixture is calcined at a temperature between 520° C. and 550° C. and then comminuted to a grain size spectrum substantially ranging between 4 and 0.125 mm.</p> |
