In the composition formula: SixCyAlz, x, y and z represent mass percent values and satisfy the following conditions: x+y+z=100; 36≦x<100; 0<y<64; and 0<z<64. The negative electrode active material for electrical devices shows well-balanced characteristics to combine high cycle performance with high initial capacity and high charge/discharge efficiency. |
