<p>According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for controlling dark current of a vehicle comprises: a first power cut element connected with multiple main devices to shut off dark current flowing to the main devices or to supply the dark current; a second power cut element connected with multiple convenient devices to shut off the dark current flowing to the convenient devices or supply the dark current; a battery sensor measuring a state of a vehicle battery; and a control part receiving a battery state signal from the battery sensor and receiving current state information regarding the vehicle from a body control module (BCM) to drive the first power cut element and the second power cut element, thereby shutting off the dark current flowing to loads of the main devices and loads of multiple auxiliary devices or supplying the dark current. Therefore, the dark current is automatically shut off by determining the current state of the vehicle. As a result, a manual operation of shutting off is unnecessary. Moreover, dark current flowing to a load of a device, which is in a lower order of priority, is automatically shut off depending on the state of the battery, thereby preventing the battery from being discharged.</p> |
