<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyance device for preventing curling tendency of a belt with a simple configuration, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: In a belt conveyance device 70, a belt 7 has a peripheral length which leaves an extra length when wound on a plurality of support rollers 71, 72, 73. When in drive, tension is applied to the belt 7 between a load facing roller 73 and a drive roller 73 in a conveyance direction of the belt 7. When not in drive, the drive roller 72 can be rotated following the belt 7, thereby lessening the tension.</p> |
