<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermostat having valve opening characteristics which closes a valve after opening valve according to the rise of cooling water temperature.SOLUTION: On an inner peripheral surface of a thermo case 21, a valve seat 22 projecting out toward the inside is provided. A first valve 27 and a second valve 28 are fixed to an element case 24 so as to be seated in the valve seat 22. The first valve 27 and the second valve 28 are disposed oppositely to a forward/backward direction of the element case 24 across the valve seat 22. Therefore, the first valve 27 and the second valve 28 are moved forward/backward with the element case 24, so that one of the first valve 27 and the second valve 28 is seated on the valve seat 22.</p> |
