PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor element configured to improve detection accuracy of a sensor cell detecting specific gas component concentration, by reflecting the change in operation temperature of the gas sensor element.SOLUTION: A gas sensor element 1 includes: a solid electrolyte 2 having oxygen ion conductivity; a heater 6 laminated on the solid electrolyte 2 via a reference gas space 102; a pump cell 41 for adjusting oxygen concentration in a measured gas space 101; a sensor cell 43 for detecting specific gas component concentration in the measured gas space 101; and an electron conduction detection cell 44 which detects a current by electron conduction of the heater 6. An electron conduction electrode 24 arranged on a surface of the solid electrolyte 2 on the side of a measured gas G, in the electron conduction detection cell 44, is covered with an insulator 51. |
