PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine starter which can start an engine while improving fuel economy by using an inexpensive jump-in type starter.SOLUTION: In an engine starter 1, a cranking time Ta up to arrival at a rotation number N1 not lower than 450 rpm after starting the cranking of an engine 2 is a time within a preset time as an allowable limit value of a cranking time which does not impart incongruity to a user caused by a cranking sound until the engine reaches the rotation number N1. By this constitution, an engine rotation number can be raised up to a high-speed rotation area not lower than 450 rpm by the starter without depending on combustion while alleviating the incongruity caused by the cranking sound. Accordingly, there can be provided the engine starter which can start the engine while improving fuel economy by using an inexpensive jump-in type starter. |
