摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene resin composition which has excellent molding processability and from which a molding excellent in external appearance and strength is obtained, and to provide a production method of the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene resin composition.SOLUTION: The ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene resin composition contains an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene resin having 5 dL/g or higher intrinsic viscosity [η] and a polyolefin resin other than the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene resin. When the cross section of the molding of the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene resin composition is observed by using a phase contrast microscope, (0.899 mm)×(0.668 mm) is set as an observation range and the cross-sectional area is observed as a difference between refractive indexes, the number of lump materials each having 10μmor larger cross-sectional area is 250 pieces or smaller, the number of lump materials each having 400μmor larger cross-sectional area is 30 pieces or smaller, the number of lump materials each having the cross-sectional area equal to or larger than 200μmand smaller than 400μmis 80 pieces or smaller and the total area of lump materials each of which exists in the observation range and has 10μmor larger cross-sectional area is 10% or smaller of the observation range.</p>
