PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel information transmission apparatus of an area one-segment broadcast which enables a user to obtain channel information of the area one-segment broadcast receivable by a one-segment broadcast reception apparatus, without complicated operation.SOLUTION: A wireless LAN controller 22 sets an SSID by a character string including: an identifier indicating that the SSID comprises a character string including a physical channel number of an area one-segment broadcast; and channel information of the area one-segment broadcast. The wireless LAN controller 22 causes wireless LAN transmitters 20a and 20b to transmit the set SSID via wireless LAN radio waves. The wireless LAN controller 22 functions as the channel information transmission apparatus of the area one-segment broadcast.
