PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfume precursor that is excellent in storage stability, particularly excellent in stability in an aqueous product, and allows the sustained-release of a perfume for the long term, a method of producing the same, a perfuming method using the same, a perfume composition comprising the same, and a fiber treatment agent, a cosmetic, a hair cosmetic, and a detergent comprising the perfume composition.SOLUTION: A perfume precursor comprises an ester of a perfume having a phenol structure or a hydroxy-4-pyrone structure, and an aliphatic monocarboxylic acid having 8 or more and 18 or less carbon atoms. |
