PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device configured to display information suitable for a driver to avoid an obstacle.SOLUTION: A head-up display device 101 includes: means for calculating a position of a warning icon in a translucent screen so as to be recognized in a position of an obstacle on an obstacle map, which indicates an imaging range of a front imaging section 301 and arranged in a lower-limit position of the translucent screen, when the obstacle is detected from an image captured by the front imaging section 301; and means for calculating a position of an end point of an instruction line in the translucent screen, so that the instruction line, starting from the calculated position and having the end point in a direction where the obstacle is located, is recognized. The warning icon and the instruction line are arranged according to calculation results, to generate a warning image. |
