PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording body having excellent water resistance and yellowing resistance of a blank paper part.SOLUTION: There is provided a thermosensitive recording body which comprises: a thermosensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye and a coloring agent on a support; and a protective layer containing an adhesive on the thermosensitive recording layer, wherein the protective layer contains an acetoacetyl-modified polyvinyl alcohol as an adhesive, the thermosensitive recording layer contains ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid and/or a salt thereof and the thermosensitive recording layer and/or the protective layer contain a crosslinking agent reactive with an acetoacetyl group.
