<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet holding unit and a magnetic type rotation angle detection device capable of positioning a rotational direction of a magnet so that a magnetization direction becomes a desired initial position.SOLUTION: A substantially cylindrical magnet 10 alternately arranging a S pole and a N pole in a circumferential direction has a cylindrical side surface part 10b, a plurality of first projection strip parts 11 formed on the side surface part 10b, and a plurality of second projection strip parts 12 formed on the side surface part 10b. A holding member 20 includes a storage hole 20c capable of storing the magnet 10 on its one end 20b. A side wall 20d of the storage hole 20c is formed with a plurality of first insertion parts 21 continued from the one end 20b of the holding member 20, and a plurality of second insertion parts 22 shallower in depth from the one end 20b of the holding member 20 than the first insertion part 21. The first projection strip part 11 is engaged with the first insertion part 21, and the second projection strip part 12 corresponds to the second insertion hole 22 and is press-fitted to an inner peripheral surface 20e of a position deeper than the second insertion part 22 of the side wall 20d of the storage hole 20c.</p> |
