<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing equipment which can deal with faint print state while decreasing a memory area to be used.SOLUTION: A printing equipment characterized in that the equipment includes: printing mode setting means which can set as a printing mode at least one of either a black-and-white printing mode or a color printing mode, and either a high jet density or a low jet density of an ink; an ink head which discharges the ink onto a medium at first intervals for every scan line on the basis of said printing mode; a sensor which can receive reflected light of light radiated onto the medium; faint printing detection means which detects the faint print state of the medium on the basis of the reflected light which is received by the sensor at second intervals wider than said first intervals; and printing mode change means which changes said printing mode when the false print state is detected by the false printing detection means.</p> |
