<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-way valve and a hot water storage type water heater having the same capable of preventing fluid flowing through a mainstream passage of a valve body from entering a valve chamber surrounded by the body of the multi-way valve, the valve body and seal members while reducing a running torque of the valve body when a fluid pressure is applied thereto.SOLUTION: A multi-way valve of the invention (four-way valve 200) comprises: a body 210 having a plurality of ports; a valve body 230 rotatably installed in the interior of the body 210 and having a mainstream passage 231 and a communication passage 230b; and seal members (215, 217, 225 and 227) sealing between the valve body 230 and the ports, in which the mainstream passage 231 allows two ports in three or more ports to have conduction; and the communication passage 230b allows a valve chamber 260 surrounded by the body 210, the valve body 230 and the seal members to communicate with at least one port which is not conducted by the mainstream passage 231.</p> |
