<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detector capable of detecting objects around the vehicle appropriately, while suppressing halation in an image captured by an imaging device.SOLUTION: An object detector includes a camera 15 for imaging around a vehicle 1, a head lamp 20 for projecting light to the imaging region of the camera 15, and capable of adjusting the projection amount for each partial region 51 in a projection region 50, and an ECU30 for controlling the projection amount of the head lamp 20, based on an image 41 captured by the camera 15, so that the projection amount to a partial region 51 in the projection region 50, corresponding to a predetermined pixel region 42 when the luminance value of the predetermined pixel region 42 in the image is large is smaller than the projection amount to the partial region 51 when the luminance value of the predetermined pixel region 42 is small.</p> |
