摘要 <p>The present invention provides an interface circuit used to exchange signals between electronic devices. The interface circuit includes: an optical connection protocol management unit which serializes and outputs parallel electric transmission packet signals generated based on output data, parallelizes serial electric reception packet signals, and translates the parallelized electric reception packet signals according to the presence or absence of errors in the parallelized electric reception packet signals to generate input data; and an electro-optical converter which converts the serialized electric transmission packet signals to optical signals to output the optical signals, receives optical reception packet signals to convert the optical reception packet signals to the serial electric reception packet signals, and transmits the converted signals to the optical connection protocol management unit. The present invention can reduce the line width of a transmission line. Accordingly, the present invention can reduce the complexity of the layout on a board.</p>
