PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle equipped with an infinite variable-speed drive, which can suppress insufficient driving force even when effecting and controlling an acceleration feeling in a state where air pressure is low.SOLUTION: In a hybrid vehicle equipped with a motor to be driven by an engine and battery output and an infinite variable-speed drive, an ECU, when there is an acceleration request, effects and controls an acceleration feeling so that engine rotation speed is gradually increased from initial level NEini lower than optimum rotation speed. The ECU supplements insufficient engine output caused by effecting and controlling the acceleration feeling with battery output. The ECU, when starting to effect and control the acceleration feeling, calculates base initial level NEini_base lower than the optimum rotation speed (S61A) and calculates lower limit level NEmin allowing the battery output to be kept below predetermined power on the basis of air pressure (S61B). The ECU selects, as the initial value NEini, either one of the base initial level NEini_base and the lower limit level NEmin, whichever is larger (S61C). |
