PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance resolution in a pseudo manner.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device includes: a first cavity 431a being filled with liquid therein and having an internal volume changed by displacement of a first piezoelectric element 40a; a first nozzle 451a communicating with the first cavity 431a and being provided so as to discharge the liquid of the first cavity 431a; a second cavity 431b being filled with the liquid therein and having an internal volume changed by displacement of a second piezoelectric element 40b; a second nozzle 451b communicating with the second cavity 431b and being provided so as to discharge the liquid of the second cavity 431b; a first driver 30a generating a first driving signal for displacing the first piezoelectric element 40a on the basis of a first original driving signal Vin1; and a second driver 30b generating a second driving signal for displacing the second piezoelectric element 40ab on the basis of a second original driving signal Vin2. Timing when droplets are discharged by application of the first driving signal is different from timing when the droplets are discharged by application of the second driving signal.
