The present invention relates to a button used for apparel, a bag or the like, and especially, to a button attached with a plaque and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the button is attached with a plaque, which has a design printed on the surface thereof, on an outer surface, thereby having increased aesthetic properties. The button used for apparel or a bag of the present invention, to manufacture a button having an aluminum plaque attached to a button body made of a synthetic resin, sequentially comprises: a first coloring process of coloring an aluminum plate material (5); a printing process of forming a plurality of design parts (6) to be regularly arranged on the material (5), which is surface-treated in the first coloring process; a first stripping process of removing a coating layer of a colored area in the first coloring process, except the design parts (6) of the material (5); a second coloring process of coating the material (5), which has passed through the first stripping process, with a selected color; a second stripping process of removing a printing layer of the design parts (6) in the material (5) which has passed through the second coloring process; a cutting and molding process of cutting each design part (6) formed in the process above into a predetermined size, manufacturing a plaque (2), and then erecting an outer edge (3) of the plaque (2) to be bent; and an assembling process of fixing the plaque (2) to the button body (1) made of the synthetic resin material.
