PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treadmill that can assist a walking trainee in an excellent manner with less burden on an assistant.SOLUTION: A treadmill 1 according to one embodiment of the invention by which a walking trainee who is assisted by an assistant on the treadmill 1 performs walking training by riding on a rotating endless belt 5 includes a riding part 7 on which the assistant rides during the walking training in the space on the upper side of the endless belt 5. By this arrangement, the assistant can assist the walking trainee while riding on the riding part, and the assistant is not required to straddle the endless belt or to walk with the walking trainee on the endless belt as before so that the assistant can assist the walking trainee in an excellent manner with less burden on the assistant. |
