SELECTED IMAGE ACQUISITION TECHNIQUE TO OPTIMIZE PATIENT MODEL CONSTRUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method that allows generation of a model or reconstruction of a model of a subject based upon acquired image data.SOLUTION: The image data is acquired in a substantially mobile system that can be moved relative to a subject to allow acquisition of images of the subject from a plurality of orientations. The plurality of orientations include a first and a final orientation and a predetermined path along which an image data collector or detector can move to acquire an appropriate image data set to allow model construction.
