PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide leptin polypeptides modified with at least one not naturally encoded amino acid.SOLUTION: A leptin polypeptide has one or more post-translational modifications. The leptin polypeptide is linked to a linker, polymer, or biologically active molecule, or linked to a bifunctional polymer, bifunctional linker, or at least one additional leptin polypeptide. A not naturally encoded amino acid is linked to a water soluble polymer. The water soluble polymer includes a poly(ethylene glycol) moiety of a bifunctional polymer. The leptin polypeptide comprises at least two amino acids linked to a water soluble polymer. The water soluble polymer includes a poly(ethylene glycol) moiety. |
