FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fluid coolant and use thereof. The fluid coolant according to the invention consists of a colloidal aqueous sol containing water and up to 58.8 wt %, with respect to the total weight of the fluid coolant, of ?-AlOparticles in form of deposits. The thickness of said ?-AlOparticles is the minimum size and ranges from 15 to 25 nm. From 90% to 95% of the ?-AlOparticles have a size smaller than or equal to 210 nm, of which 50% have a size smaller than or equal to 160 nm.
