PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable underpants type wearing article which is formed by a relatively soft sheet material, whose proximal part is easily deformed, and which has a tape fastener stably attaching a distal part.SOLUTION: In a disposable underpants type wearing article, at least a first waist region 14 of back and forth waist regions 13, 14 has elasticity in a horizontal direction X, and a tape fastener 20 is formed by a fiber nonwoven fabric and includes a proximal part 21 which is fixed near a side part 18 of the first waist region 14 via a joint area 60 and a distal part 22 which has an engaging hook area 68 for engaging and hooking the tape fastener 20 with an outer surface of the second waist region 13. At least between the joint area 60 and the engaging hook area 68 of the distal part 22, a high rigidity area 70 whose rigidity in the direction in which both side edge parts of the tape fastener 20 approximate to each other is higher than that of the proximal part 21 is formed. |
