<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that maintains a waterproof performance without degradation in display quality.SOLUTION: A display panel 10 displays an image. A protective panel member 20 allows the image to be visible through the protective panel member 20. A ring gasket 50 is provided on an edge of the protective panel member 20. A case 30 contains the display panel 10. The display panel 10 adheres to the protective panel member 20 by using a translucent adhesive 15. The case 30 is made of resin and has an upper case 31 and a lower case 32 that press the gasket 50. The upper case 31 is in no contact with the protective panel member 20. The upper case 31 has a contact portion 31d contacting with the lower case 32. The lower case 32 is fixed on the upper case 31 by using a self-tapping screw 35.</p> |
