<p>The present invention provides a remotely-controlled, magnetically-sensitized cable line fault indicating device, and a cable line fault detecting method using the same which can sense a magnetic field change around a wiring line without a current transformer (CT) for detecting current to detect a fault. The remotely-controlled, magnetically-sensitized cable line fault indicating device according to the present invention comprises: a body installed around an electric cable and separated from the electric cable; an induction voltage detection plate mounted on the body to remotely detect an induction voltage around the electric cable; a magnetic sensor to remotely detect a magnetic field value around the electric cable; a fault indicating device to indicate whether a fault occurs to the outside when a faulty current occurs on the electric cable; and a control panel to convert the magnetic field value detected by the magnetic sensor into a current value, operate the fault indicating device if the current value is higher than or equal to a prescribed value, and automatically stop operation of the fault indicating device if an induction voltage is detected around the electric cable by the induction voltage detection plate, or a load current flowing through the electric cable is detected by the magnetic sensor.</p> |
