PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an optical sheet roll which allows improvement of a manufacturing yield by reducing portions that cannot be used as an optical sheet before cutting out optical sheets of appropriate size from the roll; a manufacturing method for the optical sheet roll; a manufacturing method for optical sheets using the optical sheet roll; and a manufacturing method for a display device using the optical sheet roll.SOLUTION: An optical sheet roll 1 is obtained by winding into a roll a strip of optical sheet 40 having an optical functional layer 10 comprising a base material layer 30, light transmissive sections 11 which are formed in parallel with each other along a surface of the base material layer and can transmit light, and grooves 12 juxtaposed between the light transmissive sections, where a longitudinal direction of the grooves is at an angle with a longitudinal direction of the base material layer. Also there are provided a manufacturing method for the optical sheet roll, a manufacturing method for optical sheets using the optical sheet roll, and a manufacturing method for a display device using the optical sheet roll. |
