PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna port mapping method and device for a demodulation reference signal.SOLUTION: The antenna port mapping method includes: a step 152 of determining a transmission rank for downlink transmission to a user terminal; a step 154 of determining each port that determines one or more reference signal antenna ports for downlink transmission under the determined transmission rank, in accordance with a pair of a code division multiplexing group and a group/code including an orthogonal cover code; a step 156 of mapping the reference signal antenna ports to the pair of group/code for each transmission rank in such a manner that the code division multiplexing group and the code orthogonal cover code are identical for all the transmission ranks in the given antenna port; and a step 158 of transmitting a downlink reference signal via the determined reference signal antenna port.
