<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of the whole device by performing control so that the numbers of respective transmission and reception processing units are the optimum numbers of used units, depending on a passing traffic amount.SOLUTION: A transmission side radio transmission device calculates and outputs the optimum number of transmission links which is the number of transmission processing means required for ensuring a required transmission band calculated on the basis of a data amount of transmission data to be input. A reception side radio transmission device, when having received the optimum number of transmission links, makes only reception processing means, the number of which is a number corresponding to the optimum number of transmission links, be in an operation state; and outputs a reception preparation completion notification which is notification of completion of reception preparation. The transmission side radio transmission device, when having received the reception preparation completion notification output by the reception side radio transmission device, makes only transmission processing means, the number of which is a number corresponding to the optimum number of transmission links, be in an operation state to form one logical link as a radio transmission path by using, in parallel, physical links formed by the respective transmission processing means in the operation state.</p> |
