<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive apparatus for a light-emitting device, and an illuminating apparatus, which comprise a dimming function of the light-emitting device, by a relatively low-cost configuration.SOLUTION: A drive apparatus for a light-emitting device connected between an input power supply and the light-emitting device comprises a first power converter and a second power converter connected in parallel with each other between the input power supply and the light-emitting device. When the input power supply is re-connected in a first time period from when disconnected from the drive apparatus for the light-emitting device, the first power converter is in an operating state, and the second power converter is in a stop state. When the input power supply is re-connected in a second time period longer than the first time period from when disconnected from the drive apparatus of the light-emitting device, the first power converter is in the operating state, and the second power converter is also in the operating state.</p> |
