<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which correction effect of a defective pixel can be obtained appropriately for a luminance signal and a color signal, respectively.SOLUTION: A defective pixel correction unit corrects the signal value of a pixel discriminated as a defective pixel, out of the RAW image data inputted, and outputs the RAW image data subjected to first defect correction used in the luminous signal processing, and the RAW image data subjected to second defect correction used in the color signal processing, corrected at a correction level different from the RAW image data subjected to first defect correction. The defective pixel is corrected at a correction level suitable for the luminous signal and color signal, respectively, so that the correction effect of a defective pixel can be obtained suitably for the luminous signal and color signal, respectively.</p> |
