CONTACT ANGLE MEASURING METHOD

The present invention relates to a method for measuring a contact angle. The method for measuring a contact angle comprises the steps of: discharging a droplet on a solid sample; capturing the droplet discharged on the solid sample with a reflecting microscope to obtain an image; setting a circle along an exterior angle of the droplet on the image of the obtained droplet; forming a line to be perpendicular to the solid sample at one contact point (a) among two contact points (a, b) where the circle and the solid sample come in contact with each other; drawing the line to find the auxiliary angle (θ′) to find the desired contact angle of the contact point based on the line drawn to be perpendicular to the solid sample; and finding the contact angle (θ) of the desired portion using the auxiliary angle (θ′). Therefore, the present invention can reduce an experimental error of contact angle measurement without using high-priced measurement equipment.
