<p>The leg (2) is assembled of a wide outer pipe (3) and one or more pipes located inside to be axially moved in order to raise or lower the tabletop or other appropriate object. The base (1) can be of any suitable shape and has a hollow central area (10) accommodating the drive of the telescopic unit and the lower end of the outer pipe (3).
