<p>A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus comprises: a display unit; a sensing unit for sensing a touch input on the display unit; a viewing direction sensing unit sensing a user′s viewing direction; and a control unit dividing the screen of the display unit into multiple sections, wherein the user′s view toward a first section among the multiple sections is sensed, and when a first touch input is sensed with respect to the first section, the control unit performs a first control operation corresponding to the first touch input, and when a second touch input is sensed with respect to the sections other than the first section, the control unit does not perform a second control operation corresponding to the second touch input. Therefore, the performance of functions can be set depending on the section on which attention is sensed; and furthermore, malfunction of the display unit can be prevented.</p> |
