<p>The present invention relates to a hybrid structural profile comprising a base structure having projecting and/or recessed securing elements (3) and an overmolded plastic structure on said base structure embedding said projecting and/or recessed securing elements (3). The base structure comprises at least one tubular body (1) elongated in the direction of a longitudinal axis (E) and with a closed cross-section profile around said longitudinal axis (E). The plastic structure comprises a plastic reinforcement body (2) defining, in one or more sides of the tubular body (1), one or more structural walls (4, 5, 10) extending from an outer surface of the tubular body (1) outwardly and along at least one portion thereof. The mentioned structural walls (4) are sized to provide together with the tubular body (1) a cross-sectional area with a desired moment of inertia.</p> |
